Firstly, in the tendency of full revelation, I want to announce that I own numerous cameras. These consist of cameras sold by diverse brands. I have two Canons, a Fuji, as well as one Samsung. I ought to mention that I’m a little biased with respect to a particular brand, however I will try that it does not cloud any editorial comments I might subsequently make.

consider the wondrous Olympus FE26 Digital Camera

Very often, the overall sales ascertain which the most excellent offering is, and if the same applies to cameras, the frontrunner is Olympus. As of now, this brand carries the distinction of creating the maximum number of models in the listing of the ultimate cameras. This ropes in 4 amongst the top 5. The next best are cameras created by Pentax. Kodak boasts of 3 cameras within the top 20. In the subsequent position are cameras made by Polaroid. To finish, Agfa enters the picture thanks to its own cameras. gpoz324

Going through a different website displayed that Nikon led the line, and next came by Fuji. The next in the line-up is Flip Video , which in turn is trailed by Contax; and following these are HP, Petri, Bolex, and Vivitar. A different website positioned the cameras in the given manner. The topmost was Nikon, at the seocnd spot was Sony, third came Konika, and these were followed by Agfa, Fuji, BenQ, Aigo, Gami, Vivitar, and Casio.

In case you add up all these, the leading three consist of Canon, Pentax a far second , and Samsung rather close at third. Everyone else had less than ten topmost ranked cameras.

Photography: Bands and Performers #1

We all go to “gigs” once in a while and from time to time we might want to take some photographs of the event. It might sound easy, but if you want to avoid those blurred shots depicting humans resembling ants in the distance, then you will need to cultivate a different approach.

Photographing at concerts or in nightclubs can pose problems. None of these are insurmountable with the exception of one - permission. Many official venues will not grant permission, especially if the artists are high profile ones. For local performers, permission should be sought from the venue owner and/or band or performer manager. It will usually be granted. State why you want the pictures and what you are going to do with them.

With a bit of thought and advance planning, you will be able to capture images of bands and performers that are not only acceptable but that are memorable for you and others.

You may even be approached by a band or stage performer to take some publicity or personal shots. If some of these are taken with the band in action (that is, performing live) then it is vital that you develop the correct approach to ensure success.

There are several considerations which I will cover in four articles. You will need to know about the venue and accessibility, the type of band and style of play, the lighting, your equipment, angles of view and any special effects.

But, rest assured, everything is relatively easy to achieve with a bit of forethought.
